Beyond Theory: Lectures that Connect Psychological Frameworks and, Real-Life Experience
My lectures bridge personal storytelling, psychological insights, and embodied awareness to explore the complexities of human interaction. Whether it's navigating heartbreak, redefining failure, or understanding the role of the body in professional settings, each talk is designed to engage both the mind and heart.
Drawing from years of experience in psychology, performance, and personal growth, I bring theoretical concepts to life through real-world reflections and interactive elements. These sessions aren’t just about learning—they’re about seeing yourself in the stories, gaining practical tools, and transforming the way you relate to yourself and others.

How to Relationship: from Heartbreak to Healthy Bonds

"I don’t care who you are, where you’re from, what you do, as long as you love me." – Backstreet Boys

Growing up, I should have learned two things: how to do my taxes and navigate relationships. Unfortunately, no one taught me either. While I can hire an accountant, I can’t outsource my relationships—that’s something I have to figure out myself.

Like many, I stumbled through love, heartbreak, and confusion, trying to understand what went wrong. Eventually, I realized that beneath every fight, every spark of connection, and every tear was something deeper: attachment styles. I came to understand how they’re formed in childhood, how they shape our romantic choices, and why they keep us stuck in frustrating patterns.

This lecture blends personal storytelling with psychological theory. Using my journals spanning 22 years as a case study, I’ll guide you through real-life reflections, analyzing them through the lens of attachment theory and other psychological frameworks. This approach makes the learning process more tangible and relatable—because relationships aren’t theoretical; they’re deeply human.

Coping with Failure: Learning to Dance Through Life’s Missteps

And though you never know all the steps, you must learn to join the dance.” – Through Heaven’s Eyes, Prince of Egypt

For years, I believed success meant flawless execution—on the ice, on stage, and in life. Growing up in the demanding world of figure skating, failure was simply not an option. The pursuit of perfection shaped my every move, reinforcing discipline but also instilling fear. A single misstep felt catastrophic—an unspoken verdict on my worth.

Then came the moment when I fell—not just on the ice, but in life. A failure so stark that it shattered my rigid beliefs about achievement, self-worth, and identity. What followed was an unexpected journey: from unraveling perfectionism to redefining success, from fearing mistakes to embracing them as catalysts for growth.

This lecture explores the psychology of failure, the narratives we internalize about success, and how we can rewire our responses. Together, we will unpack:

  • Problem-focused coping – Taking actionable steps to address the challenge.

  • Meaning-focused coping – Reframing failure as part of a bigger journey.

  • Emotion-focused coping – Managing the emotional impact of setbacks.

Through personal insights and practical strategies, this lecture highlights how resilience, self-compassion, and community can transform the way we navigate setbacks. It’s about shifting failure from something to fear into a springboard for growth and triumph.

Whether you’ve struggled with high expectations, fear of criticism, or self-doubt, this session offers a new perspective: failure isn’t the end—it’s an essential step in life’s dance.

The Client’s Body: Beyond the Brain in a Vat

A dancer’s perspective in Hi-tech

In the digital age, the body is often forgotten. We engage with clients through screens, analyze data, and make decisions as if the mind exists separately from the body. But a client is not just a "brain in a vat"—they are a whole person with posture, movement, breath, and presence.

This lecture invites professionals—especially those in tech and investment fields—to develop a more embodied awareness of their clients and investors. By integrating body language into business interactions, we can foster deeper connections, better decision-making, and a more intuitive understanding of people.

Tech may accelerate communication, but human connection still happens through the body. This lecture challenges professionals to approach their clients with a more holistic perspective—one that considers the full physical, emotional, and philosophical experience of interaction.

The Body: Reading and Responding to Presence

  • How posture, breath, and movement influence a person’s state of mind

  • How nonverbal communication affects trust and perception

  • Why physical presence still matters in a remote-first world

  • The role of rhythm, tone, and pacing in professional encounters

  • Why bodily movement can enhance problem-solving and creativity

This lecture reminds the audience of their own bodies—and the ones in their surroundings. Through playful exercises, participants develop a new awareness of how movement shapes interaction. The body is recognized not just as a vessel but as a source of creativity, connection, and redirection.
